Travers Week: Downtown Specials
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY. - Travers is the most popular day of the Saratoga summer racing meet.
and numerous downtown Saratoga businesses are offering specials to welcome visitors and celebrate locals during the exciting week and day of the race.
Travers Week is Monday, August 22nd - Sunday, August 28th with the Travers Stakes Race falling Saturday, August 27, 2022. Gates of the Saratoga Race Course fall on 7:00 am.
Complexions Spa is hosting a special on "Blowouts and Mimosas," while the Saratoga Senior Center is hosting a golf tournament. Keep reading for more details on Travers Week Specials in Downtown Saratoga Springs.

What: Our 3rd Annual Travers Tee-Off Golf Tournament
with title sponsor NYRA Bets and Golf Clinic
When: Monday, August 22nd
Where: Saratoga National Golf Club
Why: It’s a fundraiser supporting the work of the Saratoga Senior Center.
The tournament includes 18 holes of golf, a great golf gift, a welcome cocktail, lunch, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, lite bite at Mulligan’s, exciting raffles, Travers and horse themes throughout the day, and more.
New this year, for those who cannot participate in our full-day Golf Tournament, or just want to work on their game, is our midday Clinic & Cocktail. The Clinic with Saratoga National Golf Club Pros includes (1) hour with Golf Pro covering short game and driving range instruction, Welcome Cocktail, Putting Contest, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Participants can also participate in golf tournament raffles.
NYRA Bets is a title sponsor. The owner’s silks will be displayed on various holes. Some owners and jockeys will be playing on holes as well. The emcee for the tournament is Anthony Stabile, Racing Analyst, and co-host of “Talking Horses.”
We have limited foursomes left. but we are hosting a clinic while the tournament is going on that still has openings as well.

Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center: Concert in Congress Park

Gather your friends and family, bring your blankets and chairs, find a spot on the lawn, and enjoy some of our area's favorite performers. The Concert Series is sponsored by the Holiday Inn of Saratoga Springs and Humana.
The Concert will take place on Tuesday, August 23rd at 7:00 pm at the War Memorial in beautiful Congress Park and last approximately 90 minutes.
The rain location is the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center.
This FREE Saratoga Summer Concert Series is a program of the Saratoga Springs Heritage Area Visitor Center in partnership with Discover Saratoga and the City of Saratoga Springs.
